Anyone looking for a Class 2 Lorry driver?

Mate of mine has been made redundant - years of experience delivering across Scotland, good guy and totally on the ball. Long shot, but I said I'd ask.

Bit of a long shot, but if anyone's looking for a position as an actuary (qualified or part qualified), we've got a couple of vacancies (Standard Life).
And on a purely selfish note, there's a financial incentive for anyone I introduce who subsequently gets hired :thumbsup
PM if interested.

If any SE'rs are looking at new kitchens or bathrooms,

In addition to our granite/quartz worktop business http://www.graniteworktopsscotland.co.uk we have added an amazing new hybrid worktop combining the solid depth of a granite worktop but with the invisible joins and moulded sink of a corian top. (website being amended at present to add new hybrid top).

We have also been working hard for a while now on a Glass Splashback company http://splashbacksscotland.co.uk (website will be live at end Oct) doing custom made and standard glass splashbacks including socket cut outs and shapes to any design. We have 14,000 colours and can also do zebra print, one offs and sparkle designs. We will soon be able to print any image of your choice on the reverse of the glass. A fantastic finishing piece to any kitchen or washroom.

Finally, my new partnership in http://www.graffinteriors.co.uk means a complete kitchen offer. We can supply designer German kitchens and will very shortly be manufacturing our own brand kitchens directly to the public. The showroom is very busy due to our value for money and customer focus.

If any of the above is of interest give us a ring at the office 01786 448265 and mention your an SE member, I'm sure we will sort you out with some discount :thumbsup

Bullox. Didn't think to ask if anyone was "into" granite worktops and just last weekend signed up for a kew kitchen with about £6k of granite worktops. That might teach me to read things more carefully. Sorry. :(

Most likely a longshot but the firm I work for, Kongsberg (Norwegian based), are currently looking for a service engineer to work alongside me in Aberdeen as we are currently expanding into new fields. Initially we were looking for an experienced engineer from the survey industry but now starting to look for someone out with the offshore sector. Needs BEng pref electrical biased but experience of hydroacoustics not necessary. Job is basically Hydrographic Sonar based, supporting the UK navy and commercial sector which can mean lots of traveling at short notice.
Anyone wants to know more let me know,

Wanted : plumber and electrician

Looking for plumber to take a look at the heating/ water pump in airing cupboard which is leaking and replace as necessary. Looks like pipes or pump is corroding away so expect it is pretty simple.

Also looking for a certified electrician to do some simple downlighter wiring and adding a few new sockets in a bedroom.

Anyone interested give me a pm. Electrical work required anytime in next month, plumbing as soon as anyone can?
