However I don't have the details of the Walshy Day to hand, so don't know if it will be finished by then  Kind of assume it will, due to daylight fading, but who knows.

The whole of the next few days is like a blur already and it hasn't even started yet!!
It could easily take 2 hours - but you shuld be done at 4pm :thumbsup

It will finish when it finishes - it won't matter if we miss our chunnel - they'll dump us on a later one provided we arrive within 2 hours of when we should have arrived.

Cheers,

Hello everyone.

Dammit I really need to log in here more often as I would have come now that my Elise is back on the road again!

Hope you all have a great and safe trip.

Argh!

Just put a subscription on the Trackdays subforum...that'll keep you alerted :-)

Such a shame, Kelvin, as you are probably the only person I can now think of who has had his S1 longer than me - albeit you have cheated and put a Japanese engine in, but at least it's the original chassis :-)

I hope you and the (not so) wee ones are doing good, wish us luck this week!

Must be the force...Uldis now there is a blast from the past. Last time I saw him was at Donington when he was chatting up a goth type lady - Christine I think her name was (who was with her equally goth husband)

Will do!

Chassis and clams are about all that's original now. I had a buyer for it last year then changed my mind. I'm like you, I'm too attached to it.

We are, things are great if a bit hectic (Rachel is now 12 and Ben is 10  ) Likewise with you and yours Campbell.

And shock of shocks, you are going on a trip! Good effort. I need to get my arse in gear for the next one then as the furthest my car has been in over 12 months months is to the MOT station and back although it did manage this without something falling off it so things are looking up.

I have been rather detached from it a couple of times this year, mind you  but these cars have a way of reeling you back in when you get them fixed up and drive them again  Rather in the same way that your wee girl can melt your heart after you take her back off the naughty step...

An unfortunate combination of an ill-timed wistful remark on here after the Belgian GP, and the impending arrival of the end of my 4th decade next month, meant that Lisa signed this off with a flourish and barely a raised eyebrow 8)

What have I gone and done...looking forward to it immensely though, haven't done anything this crazy since Nurburgring 2003. Car is all fixed up (ish), and naturally nice and clean...for now.

All ready to go, even washed the car today and finished off some small jobs. A few minor issues, radiator fan does not work, no water temperature read out, and washers not working despite replacing a broken wire.

Taking a new rear wheel down to Ronnie's tomorrow to replace the warped one, and to get 48R's fitted all round. 0200 start from Robin's on Thursday morning, so stocked up with Pro-Plus tablets.

Is the rad fan a broken wire as well?

I am sure Robin will have a probe to test it!
