Well,

I don't lurk, but i am a newbie ,and pretty much all my posts have been cos i'm wanting something! - sorry!

so hello to all!

I fester in Glasgow, and would someone please organise a meet for some time when i'm NOT on call!!!! - PLEASE!!!!

it'd be good to meet a few more nutters, and with luck it'd stop me prattling on about my car to my mrs quite so much, which would improve my mariage no end!

anyway.

I want some stickers some time! - can someone post the basic design??

I always fancied stickers that were quite small, and along the lines (size wise) of the 240R stickers, for the back, and above the side indicators. less is more when it comes to stickers in my book (in other words, me mrs won't let me get decent big stickers :( )

hope to meet some of you soon, and you're right about SELOC - I'm giving up on them as anything except a tech database!.

A.

Had another thing about this... remind me, ony registered people can see the meets sections... ?

So thats people we dont know, dont know nuffin about. Have never said what they do or what there intent is having access to start times and routes of our sometimes spirited runs.

we dont know there real names, or where there from....

wonder if any of them have emails ending in .gov or .police.org.....

if they aint using the forum, get shot of them. If there deleted and want to re-register then fine.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Interesting, you must be the only person here running Exige wheels on a K car. What size spacers have you got on it to fit them?

I disagree with that and we've had a poll on this before. Many people register on forums and don't post, using it for technical stuff etc. Even if they did post, how could you possibly tell if someone was in the police or not? I couldn't care less if the police viewed this, particularly since I'm surrounded by them in my street and if they want to find us on a run, they could just follow me :P

Vauxhall Corsa B / Astra G spacers - £44 a pair!!

20mm each side, 4x100 PCD, 56.6 Centre Bore, standard bolts.

I just love the wheels! - i looked for ages at different aftermarket ones, but just couldn't find anything as pretty!

(IMHO)

couldn't put my finger on it - but that is it - no 048's - would complete the look!

In GLASGOW????????   - I spend the months from october to April driving in an average of 2.5cm depth of standing water! - I'm no where near that brave!!! - but granted, the 48s would look nice (but not as nice as R888s IMHO!) - but i use this as a road car, not a track car, hence the decision

I have my original 111r wheels for the winter , and the Exige wheels with A048's for track or summer outings :D :D

R888's look very similar, are cheaper, but not quite as good/grippy. Thinking of putting them on the 111R wheels by way of a comparison though, when the T1R's die this Friday - thanks to McKeann and Walshy!
