Is the inability to set up custom rooms for friends part of the same problem?

not sure if it's been covered on here, but i was disappointed not see an exige on the list of cars for the game. Especially when there's 40 or so versions of the Nissan knobhead Skyline! Dont think i'll bother

The ring appears when you do the AMG special stage. You get to do it in an old 300sl. It's a pretty good representation of the ring. You still don't get the full elevation changes but it's pretty good. They also add in the section names which is quite usefull for somone who has to check the crucuit guide for corner names before he writes up his race reports! I remember braking, turn in, apex and exit etc and exactly how the corner looks I can just never remebmber the names. At least I remember the important stuff!

The game is good fun but could never live up to the hype.

I was surprised to see no exige either and a million and one skylines. The developer of the game designed the displays for the new skyline though so I guess he is a bit of a fanboy.

And finaly... Why does is sound like I have just reversed into a wheelie bin, at low speed, every time I crash! An extra year and that's the best sound effect they could come up with ?????

Chris, sorry that you are still waiting for the copy.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

It took over a week for COD:Black Ops to arrive, and I had 2 copies ordered (1 for me, 1 a Christmas present), and Erica is still waiting for things that were dispatched way before GT5 release :(

Nevermind, it means i'm catching up on some gaming I should have done years ago (Secret of Monkey Island, albeit in 360 now)

No idea - I've not got it yet. I'm sure that'll be patched if it's not working just now - pretty key online requirement.

true, but it's amazing how many games do it so badly. Some of which never quite fix it well enough in patches to make the game a good only play. Hopefully that won't be the case here.

tired it last night and enjoyed it

I'm driving the go kart, doing the license tests and the challenge stuff - how annoying was the camper van around the Top Gear test track :damnfunny

I played it last night for the first time. For me its like going back to GT3 with better graphics, more tracks and more loading screens. Looking forward to getting into this.. Currently driving the Honda Civic type R with upgrades pushing about 225bhp.. if there was an option to drop that engine into the Elise S1 I sure that would go down well..

The intermediate level Top Gear challenge with the Elise... I can't seem to control the thing.
I'm using a 900 degree wheel & just can not catch the oversteer anywhere near quick enough. 1st corner, about 40mph & it's wanting to swap ends !!
I have no signature.

I think the motorsport Elise options cover off the Exige pretty well.

Still, can't please all the people and it's your money at the end of the day.

I'm the same as you Andy, catching it is not the major issue for me, its being able to wind the lock off quick enough which is getting me in trouble. The motors in my wheel mean I just cant wind the lock of fast enough, it really is frustrating. If there is anyway I can lock it to 200 degrees let me know !

I tried the elise TG challenge with a pad after I failed miserably with the wheel, same result, as soon as you hit the brakes it wants to step out of line, any steering angle has the same result at just about any speed!.....can't remember my elise ever having so little grip when I had it on track, not sure where the physics model for the Elise came from!

Karts are fun though, but the kart tracks so far are mega dull :(
