All the best in the new venture Graeme, very interested to hear the plans when they come to light.
I enjoyed the experience of the purchase of the 340R a couple of years back, you made everything easy smooth, and no hassle at all. In fact you appeared so attached to the car that I felt guilty selling it abroad.

End of an era, really - Never did get around to buying a car from you, but always remember a friendly welcome whenever I was at MMC getting my shed of an Elan / Elise serviced.
Also remember you not turfing me off the track, when I turned up for an MMC Elise trackday you'd organised, in my Caterham race car emblazoned with 'Glenvarigill' stickers all over it...
All the best for the future!

All the best Graeme.
Thanks for the advice when I was first looking into buying an Elise, and a friendly welcome when i popped in for parts / tyres.
I was very impressed you reemebered who I was when you introduced yourself to me in the traffic jam trying to get to Knockhill Speedfair two years ago!
Anyway, onwards & upwards

Gents, once again thanks for the kind words - it's hard enough leaving all this without being missed as well!.....and Scotty, Lotus have not been recruiting enough ladies for the "turnip inter-breeding programme" to be a success. Perhaps you can give em a few pointers.......

All the best in the new "thing" Graeme - looking forward to hearing what you're up to
Never bought a car from you (you know my father only too well & his business with George Paterson

) but you never know in the future
I'll never forget the smug look on your face arriving with a model on each arm at the Aston DB9 Scottish launch at the Falkirk Wheel

Graeme,
All the best with the move, and new role.
You're the only salesman I've ever returned to for another car, been a pleasure to deal with you both times.. Who will I buy from now! My dad (ex car salesman) also commented on how great you were to deal with.
Huge loss for MMC and it's a big pair of boots for your replacement to fill..

All the best Graeme, it's almost 2 years since my last visit, only reason being every time I drop in I end up leaving with another car!!! (3 times you swine!!!). It's been a pleasure dealing with you and have no doubt you will be a tremendous asset to whichever aspect of the brand you are heading,
Cheers,
Robin

Graeme
So.....I'd better start saving up - will you take a lightly abused 135R (one careful owner) in part-ex, for whatever you're selling?
Cheers

All the very best Graeme. Many fond memories of visiting MMC and loved the way you greeted Skye as she crawled around the fancy cars in the showroom. Great day when I finally picked up my S2 that I had waited about 4 months for. I still remember ignoring the continuing phone calls from my business partner as I carried out the purchase transactions. Once I had the keys in my hand I got around to phoning him and then he told me our main source of income had just been wiped out by a Government decision to stop ILA training. Not the news I needed but consoled myself with driving away in my Elise. You advised me to join the Scottish Elises and what a great bit of advice that was. Have had loads of adventures and great fun with a great bunch of folk. Wouldn't have done it without you. Best of luck in your new venture. Iain & Skye x

Rooney-style tactic forcing MMC to part with £200k/week?

Paul

They were very keen for me not to go but it wouldn't stretch to £200k pw - if you would I'll happily make soya lattes for the good souls of St Andrew's Square..
It's not about money, that's for sure....but if I was able to make Rooney-esque dough it would be - then I could retire at 40 and go and burn logs in a croft
