Ok sorry to only just get on. Been a very busy chappy.
Anyway the entire story.
Euan had driven from Mintlaw to Aberdeen to pick me up then through to Cairngorm. Over 100 miles of driving. The screen was clear to start with but obviously got continually worse as conditions worsened. He only needed to stop once on the way through and it was far nearer Cairngorm than Aberdeen that this stop happened. Approaching Cairngorm his scooshers had frozen and so Luke had thrown some water from a bottle over the screen so that Euan could switch on his wipers to get the kicked up grit off of his windscreen. Visibility of the road was fine. We then reached Aviemore and were stopped at the Tesco's for money and again visibility was fine. We left Tesco's and were then in a que of traffic heading up the mountain. The car in front constantly kicking up grit and muck and slush and no scooshers to use just windscreen wipers. Visibility still fine. We pulled into the Hilton so that Luke could hire Ski's and we could pre-order our lift passes down the mountain to collect at the Rangers Office. When Luke got out the car a Police car passing by the exit suddenly braked and reversed then came down and parked alongside us. This was how they pulled Euan, they had passed in the opposite direction, made a U-Turn and came back to get us. We did not even realise they had driven past us on the road. Even when they pulled alongside us we didn't think it was to speak to us.
Anyway we got out the car and the policeman first accused us of trying to hide from them. Let me point out, only one of the coppers was a total prick, the other was easy to speak to and made his point politely. After explaining Luke was inside hiring ski's and the w@nker cop making out that we were lying about that and it was all an elaborate cover story he then started on the windscreen whilst walking round the car checking the tyres and number plate etc. Euan and I did not really take him seriously about the windscreen as you could see into it and out of it. The w@nker then asked Euan if it was his car Euan informed him it was his Dad's, the w@nker then said "so your not insured on this car then". Euan then said back with some attitude, "I'm not an idiot, of course I am insured." I then asked the policemen the best method of clearing the windscreen, we had driven over a hundred miles without problem, visibility was fine, obviously we are not used to these extreme conditions but have done all we could to keep the screen clear. They told us just to stop and use snow to clear it. I already knew this but was trying to make the situation a little better for Euan. It was obvious from the beginning that the w@nker was set on doing him. Also seemed like he was doing his best to wind Euan up. Anyway after saying this the w@nker then said to Euan, "well at least one of you has some common sense" Again Euan was not best impressed. The other copper then asked us to clear the windscreen which we did and that seemed to be it. The w@nker then as Euan was opening his car door to get in asked Euan to take a seat in their car.
Obviously I do not know what was said in there, they took some time. But the w@nker did get out at one point. I asked him what was happening and he waved his ticket book in front of me and said, "what do you think". At this point I'm wracking my brain for reasons not to hit him, if someone spoke to me like that on the street I would struggle not to. Anyway I chose to reason with him. I was perfectly polite and asked was it really necessary. Stated that Euan is a careful and courteous driver, which is a rare thing at his age. We had fine visibility of the road and had made our best attempts at keeping the windscreen clear. 3 points were extremely detrimental to a young driver and if he actually deserved them then I wouldn't have said anything, but he does not deserve these. The w@nker then told me his decision was final and I should button it. I them told him I was speaking to him politely and I could be a prick like he is if I felt the need, however in the meantime I expect to be spoken to with a little common decency. He then told me that he realised I was speaking to him politely but nothing I could say would help the situation and I should just be quiet. Now I was raging so this was when I phoned Dad.
Euan was eventually let out the car with his ticket. Apparently the w@nker had also accused Euan of speeding at the beginning of the conversation in the car. Euan's answer had been "how the hell could I be speeding, I was stuck behind the bloody Micra which was doing 20mph". Although Euan did not help his situation, the policeman had constantly been winding him up and pushing him from the beginning. It is a farse and totally pathetic. The w@nker constantly told us that he was fed up of picking body parts up off the road and that was his justification for all of this. Anyway we continued on our way up the mountain talking about how we would snowball the prick later if we saw him in Aviemore.

Then the police car which had pulled us shot past without flashers or indicating and pulled into the gap between ourselves and the car in front which for the frozen conditions was not safe in anyway at all. He then put his flashers on for the car in front. On the road up to Cairngorm there are no places to pull in for quite some distance, so this continued for some while until the car decided to to just stop on the road as there was no where to pull in and the long string of cars half way up the hill now had to work it's way round the two parked vehicles. I felt sorry for him, obviously his windscreen was not that bad seeing as we could tell it was a young brown haired male as we drove past them.
Total w@nker, scum of the earth and he was obviously bullied when at school and is now power mad and gets kicks out of trying to destroy peoples lives. Bad things happen to good people all the time, hopefully sometime soon something very bad will happen to this very bad person though. Bad thing to wish but by Christ he deserves it.
