Surely perfect for your needs ? :thumbsup

We might need to beat him down a bit to make budget, but within a whisker of it at £12k.

If it was decent it would be a great effort :cheers
Like to know where he can get a rear main seal changed for £350. gearbox out job that, as for the back boxes they are about £800 a pair for after market more if you buy Porsche original.

I know there may be sniggers from some - but hey ho  how about 350z Ed?
...you want VFM, air con and it needs to be bullet proof for FF - it won't keep up in the twisties with the Loti but you'll still have a :D on your face - you'll pick up a good example now for under £10k no probs - if you go for a UK GT pack you'll get Brembos, leather, cruise and icy cold air con. Even go all out and stiffen it up with uprated ARBs and droplinks and bobs yer fanny :thumbsup

This looks a cracker

Porsche 944 S2 3.0, if you can find one with aircon.

£3k buys a useable example. £1k to fettle.

Unburstable, plentiful, cheap parts and beautifully balanced chassis. :thumbsup

Lynda struggled to tame the Beast, so what chance has Ed got :damnfunny

Megane; needs to be a R26 as it comes with a LSD. A must IMO as its going to be tracked.

Z3M, go for a 2001 and it comes with the E46 engine so no Vanos worries.

Sell the Golf and buy a Europe :thumbsup

Huh Huh Hmmmm - feeling brave :-o

I'm biased - but (apart from the interior) this would do the job!

I love the red interior on the S2000, that would be my own choice. If I was treating myself to a road car then I would probably go for it, but I just do not do the mileage. Even the insurance for me would be peanuts.

Would be good to see it in S_E.
