Pauline,

Christ this feels like one of the threads where a member announces the arrival of their new (human) baby, full respect :-)

Sounds like you have chosen well. As you know perhaps better than many, there are no true guarantees with a second-hand car...but then there are none with even a brand new one if it's a Lotus (chortle) so well done on the homework, and you can look forward to a great summer.

Of course I expect to see you at a "Spanners" session at some point soon, learning your way through the car. As you know these things need TLC to stay on the road, but just like real babies, they are immeasurably rewarding when you get it right :-)

Welcome, properly, at last!

Congrats on the car Pauline, so glad you have joined us after years of helping us out in the earliers days.

Looks like Spring is on its ways so you will have the opportunity to have some top down motoring (although looks like you also managed to get one with hard top).

Cheers

Well done love, the years we worked together you were always going on about getting one, so delighted to see you took the plunge. Looks a great car - loevly mileage for an 03 too - I'm sure Mr McL gave it a good going over...sorry I wasn't quick enough to respond over the weekend (no internet at the house from time to time) but looks like you did just fine without my interference..... :thumbsup

Glad you have found the one you like so quickly.

Enjoy the spring. Do some training and paxing and get on the track during the year.

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Thanks Guys.

Campbell....if i ever have to go through a 10 year bloody pregnancy like this again then please....I hold my hand up now and say, even as a woman....I cant take it!

Graeme, we always knew after all the years we spent in the showroom it was gonna have to happen at some point....just you get your backside back home as often as you can....oh, and bring the factory car...im scared I chip mine now lol :p xx

And yeh....we should all have known....Im a woman, i'll spend years chopping and changing my mind, humming and hawwing. But god help it when I decide I "need" something, any more than a week just wanst an option I knew id have to find "the perfect one" in a week.... next week i'll prob be back to buying shoes lol (slightly cheaper) x :damnfunny
