I just have Royal Oak (Dual Time, I think) and love it
I wouldn't bother with watches.
I asked them about my Panerai and was offered half price than the RRP (new). They then make a huge mark up.
Of course, that's the nature of their biz.

I'm a AP fan but not keen on the Dual Time. Blowers Jewellers have a couple (if model numbers are the same) for £8500.
Maybe approach them?

If you love it, why sell it? GT3 needing a service? :D

Jen, if you're thinking about a Sub for Allan, try somewhere like Blowers Jewellers. Unfortunately you;re buying after Rolex upped their prices 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years. Isn't a standard sub around £3650 nowadays?

I was going to give mine to my son but since I bought it on Matilda's birthday, she'll get it for her 18th. I quite like the look of mens watch on a lady. Some work well and the Sub is definitely one since it's not too huge.

That's 'cause there's a small market for Panerais. I was offered £800 more than I paid for the Daytona.

Off the top of my head it was £3k for the for the one he had on which looked as good as new.

He also mentioned he was getting a completely black submariner which was commissioned with absolutely no reflective surfaces. He said around £5k for it.

". Rolex announced a price increase of 7% (as of February 1st 2011) and it seems that you will be paying 8,800.- Euro for a ref.16622 Yacht-Master, 6,170.- Euro for a ref. 116710LN GMT-Master II and 6,250.- Euro for the new ref. 116610 Submariner Date. It must be said that Rolex did not increase their prices during a longer periode. Audemars Piguet for example, announced their annual 5% increase of their prices."

Yep - probably the least valuable of all Tags I'm afraid thanks to them having been prolifically faked in the 90s :?
