I was wanting to buy that style of Carrera about 6 months ago.
lovely.
Best bet is Ebay.
But pay extra for the supersize photos -
Take 9 photos - including one of the box, receipt etc.
I reckon you will get about £1350 to £1500 for it. (IMHO)
If i remember, it was £2,050 new ?

I'd stick on:
PH
watchuseek.com
Or ask DDtb or Greg to stick on timezoneuk.
I'd very much doubt you'd get £1500.
Tags don't hold value that well.

It's personal taste, but I'm not a fan of the gold. For a 1500, this would be my choice of model:-
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TAG-HEUER-1500-Me ... 4aa9df0c5d
I think the 1500 was the next model up from the Formula 1... so it wouldn't have been too expensive when new (F1's were about £150 in 1990... so maybe £300 for a 1500?)
I have no signature.

Interesting how the 1500 has aged so much better than the dated-looking SEL range from the same time, that 1500 is a nice looking diver style watch.

Think it is a reasonable punt? I like the look of it and would make a decent every day watch
Gorrie, I really like the one you posted too, decisions....

Indeed. The 1500 was between the F1 and 2000, I still regularly wear (when offshore or doing dirty work back home) my 2000 chronograph which I bought in 1992, brilliant watch
What watch are you fancying?
