Well not quite
Knockhill have installed raised concrete kerbs on the inside of many corners to prevent people cutting them too much, particularly the "BTCC line" at the chicane.
You can see them here on this video:

On the plus side, it means that they have been able to remove the unsightly piles of tyres they used on the inside of McIntyres and the chicane from time to time.
Over time, I think they will be painted to make them more visible.

Was talking to Ian Forrest about this a few weeks ago at Bryce Wilson's place, and we all thought that it was a good idea.

The chicane is the only one that I think I'll need to modify my line - but I think it is better idea than bollards

Am I the only one wondering if it would do much damage to hook the wheel over the speed hump?.... how much damage could it possibly do?

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

Hmmmm. Launch pads
They have them at snetterton now and they fairly throw you up in the air if/when you hit them.
At snett they are too big to put a wheel inside. Not that I tried! Came back into the pits with the splitter hanging off too many times during Time Attack.

The cutting of the corners wasted it for me, so should be interesting.

Deinately a better idea than tyres, especially at the chicaine. Think ill actually be quicker through there.
Not sure the ones at the first corner or at Clarks are safe, could see a clip on those putting you very out of shape.

Wonder if we can fly over it.....

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

Thought the track drove very well with the bumps. It needed the cone on the chicane or it's completely blind, but maybe thats the idea

... Only person I saw all day riding over them was Tut.
