Weird, isn't it - lots of endurance cars are going with this style of top-mount wing now... Can only assume they've figured that they get more downforce from the underside of the wing, or less drag, or something if the mounts are in the top. Maybe it flexes more controllably/inside the regs at speed, so bleeds off drag... Deffo don't understand it, but it's getting common.
