Ingliston Sprint 29th May

I have booked Ingliston (Royal Highland centre) for a sprint event on 29th May. It's been organised via the Type R Scotland forum but as usual it will be a pretty varied mix of cars. Dom and Hambo are already booked up so hoping a few other SE'ers can make it.

For those who havent been there before it's on the south track area using part of the track and access roads, cost for the day is £30.

Places are limited so I will need cash or cheque to confirm a place, please send me a pm for details if you are interested.

For anyone thinking of trying out trackdays or autotesting this is a great chance to practice your car control. Speeds are fairly low and decent amount of run off.

I doubt it as trackday insurance usually only covers events run by official organisors. This is one car on the track at a time, with grass run off areas, so you'd really need to get things very wrong to need insurance... IMHO :thumbsup

A few of the single seater guys had damaged suspension due to the track surface being damaged over the winter at the Brit Sprint Champ round last weekend . . . be worth scouting the track prior to use in anger . . .

Also worth noting that one single seater ended up partially inside a building near the track after a spin after the sprint finish line . . . car very badly damaged, but he got a good time . . . so . . . be careful ;-)
