We usually ask people to arrive between 9 and 9.30am to allow us to start at 10.am.

There are usually other events on in Ingliston which means we cant leave the gate open so the nearer to 9am that everyone can arrive the better, saves us manning the gate and we can start earlier.

I'll post full details, directions etc in the next few days but basic format is this;

Arrive 9am
Briefing 930 Which consists of me telling you to keep off the grass
Couple of slow speed laps to see the layout
Start 10am
12.30-1.30 lunch
Finish around 4pm

Some details for the day.

Arrive from 9-9.30.

Event starts at 10.

12 - 1pm Lunch

Day ends at 4pm.

There wont be someone on the gate all day, I should be able to open and close throughout the day, if anyone asks let them know you are part of the Type R Scotland event. Please try to arrive on time, if we keep having to open and close the gate it may affect track time.

My mobile number will be on the gate but pm me if you want a note of it for the day.

Everyone should arrive with enough petrol to last the day.

From Glasgow you take the cut off before the Airport one and the entrance is immediately before the car Auction.

A reminder once again that this is not a trackday, just a chance for a bit of fun. No one should be spinning or going off the circuit

Please note: Ingliston have warned us not to go onto or damage the grass as their biggest event the Highland Show is coming up. If the grass is damaged we may have to pay for the repair at around £10.50 + VAT per square metre,

Ignore the track route, the new one is completely different, just so people know where to go.

It will hopefully be this, although it depends on the surface being suitable, it has been mentioned that some bits were quite bad after the harsh winter.

The layout makes use of the better tarmac on the old track area and has a couple of artificial chicanes and corners that add a more technical and challenging mix. Well that's the idea anyway.

Route follows blue >red > yellow.

Hi Kenny,

Louise want's to come out at lunchtime and bring the kids. Is access like that going to be easy enough to manage, maybe with a little warning?

Ferg, Should be ok.

Ingliston usually ask us to close the main gate so they will have to phone for access, I will have the key so someone can pop along and let them in.

I had a great day, thanks for all your efforts Kenny and also to the Uni motor club guys for doing the timing.

Dom you're a crazy man. I suddenly had an overwhelming requirement to pull the handbrake all over the place. Needless to say I think I managed two runs all day without spinning. Brilliant fun. :)
