Great news Tut - as such a regular visitor to the place, it'll be nice that there's still memory of Brian there for years to come.

Remember Brian both at KH and also here at Xtreme........... well dressed and ALWAYS a gentleman!!

Remember last time he was in and some bugger knocked him out of a position. Came off the track and shrugged it off his shoulder! Oh well, smile on his face! Still looked at the positive and he was having a great night!

Thoughts to his family and friends.

Tut

Trophy's arrived today, can you pm me your email address and I'll send a pic through?

Not sure yet if I will be there on Saturday for the briefing, just emailed John to see if any spaces left so I can book on

If all the spaces are gone is there anyone local that could collect / take the trophies up to KH so they are on show for the briefing?

Thanks

Barrie

I'll be at Xtreme for some Karting with GUMSC tomorrow evening, and will then be going to SIDC (planning to be there early) so am happy to take them if you wish?

Cheers

That's great Barrie, although the MD said that he was sending them to my address. Did he send the plaque as well? My e-mail is next to my pm below the Avatar.

Cheers Dom, I will be there before 0800 on Saturday.

Dom has the cups at present, passed over from Barrie, so he will be taking them to KH.

However he has sent me some pics, so for those of you that will not be there on Saturday, here are a couple of photos. Unfortunately the plaque for the Memorial Bench is to special order so will arrive too late for the weekend, put I will send it down to Ian and he will put it on for me.

Yeah, saw those shots - really impressive - lovely looking trophies, imposing but classic and understated. The Gentleman Racer would have approved, I'd wager :thumbsup

I have not had the bill for the four cups and the Plaque yet, but there will still be a fair bit of money in the fund still left.

As there are going to be well over a hundred of us at Tut Towers on Saturday night, mostly S_E'ers, we could maybe base something around that.

sorry for an odd bump,

was reminded of this as once again i can't attend a friends funeral today due to just starting a new job.

who was the last winner of the trophy? has anyone won it since TT10?

would be sad to see the tradition die off, also was the cememorative bench done at KH?
