Glad you like it. I had considered not telling anyone and waiting to see if anyone noticed but then the excitement got to me and I just had to share

I have extra respect for this car given its owner history and it inclines me more to making sure my modifications to it are done properly and to a high standard and hence the reason the car has been completely striped down before doing it as the finish had to be like it had just come out of the factory.

Looks epic and can't wait to see the final result.
Just as a thought - instead of black wheel would a dark graphite grey/antharite colour maybe not work a little bit better? However which ever you choose I am sure it will look great.
Cheers
George
Thanks.
I'm not sure about that combo as I never really thought about it before you mentioned it, quite possibly it could look quite good, but I do know for sure that the black will look good. I might try it if I get another set of wheels in future.
Sanjoy,
Definitely agree that black will also look good. Reason I suggested the dark grey/antharite is because I have seen pictures of it on an Evora and think the grey colour of the wheel blends well with the orange:
Managed to find a picture of one in case that helps:

I agree, dark anthracite wheels will look far better than proper black. I think the detail of wheels tends to get lost when they're painted black and they also then make the tyres look manky and brown unless they have been freshly detailed.
Anthracite all the way!
Car does look good though, excellent choice on colour.
Interested to hear what Shug pointed out though that you hadn't thought of!

I never said my screen saver was a Europa did I?

I'm well aware it's the dodge EV1, it's even written on the side of the car lol! I only said it looks like it which indeed it does and it looks fab Saj, top choice mate!
Also in the anorak faction lol
P.S Grey wheels look like dirty silver ones and black unless its gloss looks like your wheel trims have fallen off

Just my opinion of course
Mark

I'm not sure if I've misunderstood what you're saying or you have with what I responded back to Shug but what I was saying or was meaning to say to him was that I had already considered what he had pointed out and had consulted Niton and Hoffman's in respect to this and they told me I'd be fine, but appreciated still that he pointed it out as had it been someone that didn't know about this he potentially was saving them find out the hard way.

Sorry, it was me that misunderstood. I didn't realise Shugs comment about not worrying was regarding the suspension set-up- I thought he had spoken to you previously about your colour choice and he was saying that he needn't have worried as it looks sweet.
I'll away back to sleep

There is a guy at work with an orange Focus ST and I love the colour. Thinking about doing the same to mine some time down the line.

If you're around the West Lothian area I can always let you see the finished result sometime.

Hopefully Wednesday.
Once the wheels are done just need the venture sheild clear film added to the front bumper, front clam and side skirts and then it should be good to go.
