Oh dear. I dropped an axle stand on the rear clam of our newly painted Elise. Not one of my finest monents! The whole incident ended up being named axle-gate! We always use castlepark autobody in Ellon. Really nice guys and they do a fantastic job. Tell them the Gourlays sent you if you do go there. :thumbsup

I dropped a mountain bike down the side of the Skoda recently. Lisa reversed it into our garden wall before that. It got a 4-panel scratch from overhanging trees by the road whilst on hols. It's starting to look a bit 2nd hand! Then I polished it, and everything was all right with the world again. Even the neighbours came over to say how shiny it looked :-)

Nothing now its had 2 grand of warranty work done in the last few weeks ;)

I actually was thinking of going for an exige s - or an AC Cobra ; ) - and just before i was about to sell it, i had a few niggles. And I didnt want to sell it with any faults, so decided to pull the advert and get all the warranty work done. ECU, Alternator,Cam positioning sensors etc etc.

Its going to be a great car for who ever buys it , now its all been done

Right got the car back and the incident has been recified - what an amazing job. 24 hours and cars back with me ;)

Big up to my friend Philip that runs Kirkton Motor Body

Anyway --- back to the original topic... and a big FFFFFFEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!

Done 200 miles since the replacement oil pressure sensore replacements - with NO light, NO flicker.......yet today, on the way back from Banchory, reached Aberdoom and hey presto the fecking light started to fade in and out, flicker, then off... 5 miles later.. flicker.... then nothing!

took the car down to our underground car park, and once in my space, decided to sit and leav it idling... and video the thing... 5 mins of NO light... then flicker... on... flicker.. fade in.... fade off... nothing.!!!!!! WTF!!!!

Any ideas?!

The car is only 30K miles, has been servced religiosly, full service 2K miles ago, and has NEVER been on a track or thrashed.. so no chance its worn engine etc. I am still possitive its a wiring issue... please HELP before i drive this fecking thing into the harbour!
