Standard on the 250.

Oh Walshy was involved. He couldn't stop laughing and taking the piss out of Golding as he was being attended to by the paramedics.

Paul on Facebook :
No more ops now but god knows how long will be on here for. Final count was leg broken in 3 places hence metal plate to fix. Foot dislocated and bolted back together with pin and broken bone in foot as well. On the plus side I should loose stone or two and didn't get chucked in the pool:)

 not good, get well soon Paul

It's hot here. Rest day today so we hit Ventoux in waves. To be honest the gorges de la nesque was better than Ventoelink as there was a lot of car and bike traffic on the Mt today :-(

Paid homage to toelink corner had a couple of crepes au nutella (classy) and headed back to Orange before the heatwave arrives.

I hold my hands up to the clutch ... could have put a new one on whilst engine was being swapped but didn't organize the parts so just re-used old clutch. I guess the release bearing was about to fail but no sign of it when I checked it before it went onto the engine.

Oil pumps don't generally fail and I am still not sure that this one did but once the oil light had come on once it was hard to persuade yourself that it could be ignored ...

There's a clutch slave cylinder being fixed (non-SE) today/tomorrow and maybe some other carnage too ... all before Ledanon. Possibility of heavy rain at Ledanon. Oh yes, I cannot wait, even though it will be scary :-)

Time for the pool I think . . .

One almost has to laugh at anatomical damage exceeding mechanical this time, but genuine commiserations (sp?) to Paul. Even if this wasn't the last Frolic, it probably would now be...for SE entrants at least ;-)

It's fricking roasting back here too right enough. Temps heading for low teens this weekend, sheesh...

Thanks for the updates. Tumbleweed here otherwise...says a lot eh!
