Bits n' Bobs...

Post by sonicrisk » Tue Aug 23, 2011 7:34 pm

Hey all,

I need to stock up on some hard to source stuff in the UAE and was wondering where the best place to get that stuff (in the UK) is. I'll hopefully be back in Glasgow in the next month or two so can order everything and pick it when I do get back.

Shopping list:

Exhaust (thats a no brainer... Jim V)
R888 Tyres (full set)
Schroth Harness
Pagid RS-14 Pads
Oil Filters (the better ones)

I'd be grateful for any advice offered and if we have any special deals with suppliers, that'd be nice to know too!

Cheers,

Try Camskill for your tyres.

Oil filters, surely motor factor edition will be fine!

Pads, no longer sure, ages since I bought any...eBay?! (new ones obviously...)

Chat with Craig Moncrieff at Murray is worthwhile too. See what they can offer...

Schroth harnesses - I got from MSAR (msar-safety.com) Malcolm there is a good lad and gave good advice, although bloody hell, he can talk :)

nick

if you cant source any r888's because they have simply sold out.....you could try the yokohama advan AD08's instead...a little less semi slick but a good alternative for road/ track.....have a gander :thumbsup
