New V6 Exige pics
Re: New V6 Exige pics
I wouldn't be surprised to see a supercharged 1.6...but probably not until the Exige is well established in its new clothes and powerplant.
But there is a limit to how much Lotus can invest in "interim" products if they really are serious about their new range.
I agree, really interesting to see how the current stuff evolves until "the big bang"!

You will not be disappointedryallm wrote:It will be really interesting to see how this car turns out. You would think it would be cheaper for Lotus to use the Evora platform rather than the Elise one as it is already engineered for the V6. Not long till Frankfurt so I guess we'll find out soon. Let's hope Lotus can regain a bit of credibility with the new models after making total idiots of themselves with all that Swiz Beats bollocks (listening Graeme?).

I'd buy one of them!
Re: New V6 Exige pics
Good snaps. Judging by the campervan, taken near the Ring?!
I think it's going to look quite "grown up". No doubt will split the camp as usual, but if it keeps the £££ rolling in for our loved & hated manufacturer, then what the heck. 13 days to unveiling?!

Once they "unwrap" the spoiler and u can see the end planes etc i think that's going to look great.
Less wasp like agility then previous models for sure but should be quite some machine.
Any details on the actual weight of it yet?

At first glance it just looks like any S2 Exige with a tweaked front end and the lights from the latest Elise - then you notice the hugely flared out sills and rear arches. Without the disguise this will look great I reckon and in supercharged form will surely be mentally quick. I want one

Slammin' bad ass mota bro, fo' sho', as Swiz Beatz might say
