Reminds me a lot of the roads we drove in various Spanish mountain ranges 10 years back in my S1 Elise. And also the fact that our rented Mustang V6 was certainly not capable of that when we visited very your area on honeymoon 2 years later!

Re: Turn it up to 11
It does look a wild ride indeed.
How does the engine drive, does it feel quite stressed as if you're constantly at the top end of the rubber band effect if you get my drift?

Re: Turn it up to 11
Stressed ? Why would you say that when I'm shifting at 7-8,000 rpm while it has a working rev limit to 10,000 rpm...
It feels lke an OEM setup in traffic around town, you would never know it had 680 whp if you didn't put your foot into it..

Re: Turn it up to 11
It's a 2zz with 700 odd bhp
that's what i mean by stressed.
Does it feel like a small engine that's been twin charged? By that i mean does it always feel on boost so that when you lift off the engine is doing most of the braking?
It's a hard one to get across this

Re: Turn it up to 11
It feels exactly like a stock engine when on decel since there is no added restriction with 9/1 comp pistons and 1mm larger valves and open exhaust ports....You don't have to buzz red line to make power since you have 420 ft tq. at 3,800 rpm.OlberJ wrote:It's a 2zz with 700 odd bhpthat's what i mean by stressed.

But when you put your foot down in 5th gear at 70 mph [3,000rpm] it pulls like my CLS55 AMG all the way to redline...10,000 rpm
It feels like a big block supercharged AMG... now that's not too hard to understand..
Re: Turn it up to 11
Now my little rocket pig makes more power than any car in that group....at only 27 psi. 615 WHP and 422 ft tq.simon wrote:Turn it up to 11 another way
I run 33 psi. [680 whp] on the street...
Re: Turn it up to 11
Have you driven it much in the wet? Do you find you need any rotational steering? It seems very planted in the dry. Nice background music too
