I have borrowed a proper zoomie digital camera and will have the GoPro videoing on the nose so hopefully should get something in the frame :)

As a precaution .... incase I couldn't navigate to Knockhill or didn't fly low enough :blackeye ... I have got the Chief Instructor to do the flying and I will be in the back with the camera :thumbsup

Just to confirm chaps and chapesses - the trackday is fully sold out (in other words everyone's paid) as of this morning! With Gift aid, that means the total is sitting at just under £6.5K! That's bloody amazing and I think the biggest amount raised ever, prior to the BBQ night, so everyone give yourself a pat on the back - but be sure to bring your spending trousers to the BBQ as we've got some superb auction prizes to bid on, which currently include, a Sony TV, trips to the Lotus factory, exciting booze combinations and a lot more.

You can of course, still come along for the banter and donate for a pax wristband, or come along to the after party without even going to the track.

It's going to be a belting day!

Good stuff. When I took my GTi on track, I managed 7.7 MPG, 10 laps to a set of tyres, and about 12 laps to a set of brake pads. See if you can beat that! :thumbsup

That's shocking!! The Civic Type R on Frolics had a lowest MPG of 10 on track (30 to 35 on the motorway) and did three tracks on the same tyres and brake pads. Plus all the mileage there and back. Did I mention it's for sale. :thumbsup
