The party afterwards (from what little i remember) was also top banter, although leaving the rugby club, getting home and being put to bed is somewhat hazy!

Can Andy or Shug remind me what i am due from the auction

Till next year.............

That's the main reason I dragged myself along in the evening despite having felt lousy all day. I sank more orange juice and coca-cola than I have done in a long time but it was great to catch up with so many people. Even if the vast majority were borderline incoherent by the time I arrived (9pm) :damnfunny

I have started giving some thought to a Sweeping Up the Leaves run for next month but am not sure enough of my calendar yet. You never know, though...

Hi Campbell

I had thought about adding it in as the Nov breakfast meeting, then off round Loch Rannoch after it?
Could have sorted out a breakfast in Drummonds in Pitlochry???

Could you not tell? If you looked carefully you could see the front wheels shaking slightly due to red bull tremors

I just thought I'd share some love as well. It was a great start to a long weekend for us.

When I saw the number of people at the briefing I thought the track would be a nightmare - and that was without the threat of rain. It was only Pauline's second time on track in the Exige and she was pretty apprehensive. The first few of laps were like driving round the M25 but it actually worked out well to get a nice gentle pace going. The track etiquette was superb, with the exception of a certain Porsche that kept holding people up (not Andy G for a change). It was absolutely in the spirit of the event.

Being one of the few sober people at the BBQ was an interesting experience. Scotty and Benny thought they were still on Frolic and were competing in the ‘running man’ competition that was going on although there were also doing pretty well in the unofficial ‘rubber man’ event. The level of alcohol consumed must have made a fair contribution to the auction. Scotty was telling a story at the back of the bar while waving his hands in the air only to discover that he’d just bid £80 on something. Luckily for him he didn’t get whatever it was. I do think there was a missed trick with the auction. I’m sure Sophie would have paid a huge amount to see that gimp mask burned.

I was volunteered to give a lift to a few guys to the Opal Lounge after the BBQ. A few other guys jumped into a taxi in front of us and we followed them. Pauline thought it would be a great idea to keep flashing the lights at the taxi. Thankfully Cheez managed to pacify the driver and he was about to get out and smack me.

Big thanks to Shug, Andy, Mark, Claire and everyone else that helped out. The amount of effort that goes into organising events like this is huge even though it looks dead easy.

Agree with all the above, another top night, had a good time ot KH, esp the last pax laps with Ali in the 2-11 (although traffic got in the way of catching & passing Scotty), well worth writting off most of saturday for. :cheers Thanks to Shug, Andy and the rest of Amp 3 for organizing... and Benny for hosting later on.

Broken tooth from earlier in the day was settled by the drink, thanks to all who persuaded me it was a good idea. Dentist apt. due within the hour :roll.
