took a wee moment to compute that one!
Unfortunately hookers don't tend to declare their taxable income, hence don't pay their share to reduce the national debt
They do, however, spend their money and uncollected tax on SOMEthings...sadly it's probably more often that not on drugs, and once again the funds are going into the wrong channels, n'est pas?!

Campbell in "Daily Mail Reader" Shocker...

There are people who work in offices and spend most of their money on 'drugs' (taxed or otherwise) and some that save up or spend on making their lives better. There are probably proportionally more hookers in the addiction spiral, but you might be surprised what some 'girls of the night' do during the day...

And if your a hooker in Chicago a pimp is a good idea, you will make more money, have better clients, you won't get beaten up and for the price of a few freebies (french style) to the cops that your pimp will arrange you won't have any law enforcement issues.
Avoid street girls unless your cheap as you can get discounted rates if you pay in drugs.
High class girls are generally better looking but only pay for the hour don't waste your money on dinner, it's not a date, you don't have to impress, sex is a done deal.

Shug, I'll disregard your remark about The Mail.
Your understanding of what the oldest profession may be doing during the day seems quite well researched
Well well, another MENTAL thread drift. How DO we do it...

Bobby George (the darts player for you non-sporting types) must be afraid to leave the house just now.

It's good, isn't it. Quite subversive. I like the bit about pumping sulphur dioxide (I think) into the atmosphere and thus reversing the effect of carbon dioxide; that way we can save the polar bears whether or not it's our fault that their poor choice of habitat is melting underneath themBiggestNizzy wrote: /Currently reading super freakonomics.

Campbell. Ignoring for a moment the highly paid hookers that I assume are in the minority, the majority are presumably earning little enough that their lack of income tax payments is going to be small beer (when using the Greek debt scale as a ruler

Apparently soft play centres are mostly money laundering facilities, so if you really want to help keep drugs out of Britain, don't use soft play centres (and only use non-drug-using hookers).
Cheers,
Robin

Not at that bit yet, just finished why suicide bombers should buy life insurance and I am working my way through apathy and altruism.robin wrote:It's good, isn't it. Quite subversive. I'd also recommend The Big Short for a terrifying insight into Wall Street.

Cash business are ideal for cleaning cash, tanning places are also favourites. A lot of drug money goes into the car accessory market, blinging up your Scooby or impreza can be done with cash with no questions asked.

Looking at Kryptonite at the moment as I bet everybody has overlooked that.Rich H wrote:How about useful metals instead?
I read about palladium and platinum being good bets as they are not only rare and finite but they are used in loads of hi-tech things so are atually consumed aswell as just stored as bullion.

Go out to get some bits out of the garage for Craig, come back, and the conversation has turned to prossies.

If you like Freakonomics, could I recommend "Risk: The Science and Politics of Fear" by Dan Gardener. It's not an economic/statistical book as such, but provides great insight into why we're incapable of letting our emotions over-ride logic or rational decisions, even when all the stats are contrary to what our simple minds are feeling.
Re: Financial crisis, it aint looking good
So in order to drive the economic recovery and protect my assests I should;
1. Find myself a respectable and conscientious pimp who can introduce me to some high class ho's to invest my portfolio in.
2. Avoid non-taxable pharmacuticals, but invest in taxable alcohol.
3. Be wary of soft play centres. (unless I have a few hundred £k to wash)
Thanks SE
