Quite like the concept, I have a fear they are about to make a complete bollocks of it though,

Well, we'll need to see 'Grand designs revisited' in, oh, around 10 years time, to see if they are any where near completion. I liked the concept and what they had done, although the structure and spaces were maybe a bit more organic than I'd like.

Why would a couple of 40 somethings be building their own underground nightclub, anyone would think they were architects looking for some free publicity.

Getting on well with the neighbours so far.

Still, let's start building before we have half the planning permission.

New series tonight C4 9pm. How many women will Kevin get pregnant in this series? :)

Kevin McCloud meets more people trying to build dream homes, beginning with Sean Simons, who bought the ruins of Cloontykilla Castle in the Irish county of Roscommon with a view to using them to create a spectacular mock-16th-century home. However, the outlandish plans - including jacuzzis in the battlements and water-spouting gargoyles - have Kevin worried the project could become a garish nightmare, and his scepticism increases when he realises Sean has not consulted an architect. Disaster seems to be looming as the contractors get frustrated and planning regulations are ignored, but somehow things begin to slowly take shape - until a national economic crisis plunges everything into chaos.

A bloke from the microlight flying community is being filmed (well, his house is) for this Series.
He owns / operates an airfield at Strathaven in Ayrshire and is building a house within the airfield next to the runway

Good effort but another project that stalled. The last series was exactly the same with most projects faltering. I hope some are completed this time as it's getting tedious watching half finished shells stumble to a halt.
