Re: BMW Z4 Coupe
I am looking to part with mine, I'm happy to come and see you to let you have a proper look at it? I'll leave it up to you. Just let me know.

Re: BMW Z4 Coupe
Nah,did it myself, it only took me about 45 mins. It's a really simple upgrade, cut the cowling insert the stalk then cut into the wiring loom, there's then a wire you need to feed through into the engine bay, then it plugs into one of the fuse boxes under the bonnet. I bought the stalk and wiring loom off the z4-forum. I think from BMW the whol lot is only about £60.a4drk wrote:Jonny, what was involved in the retrofit cruise control ?
Did you have to send it to BMW so that you could re-programme the ECU?
I know the cowling has the space ready to cut out
David
I have to say that changing the engine in the VX was a lot less stressful than cutting into the wiring loom of the Z4.

Re: BMW Z4 Coupe
Just to update, I'm still looking for one.
I had a test drive in one and really liked it. I'm not in a major rush but I think this will be the next car for me. Looks like some bargins to be had once I get rid of the current car as prices seemed to have fallen over the winter.
Again, cheers for all the advice.
