I'll be tuggin at yer ankles for a few pax laps too. Always wanted a run in a high powered 7. Been in a Vauxhall engined one on carbs with 170brake and that impressed the hell out me.

Spoke to him about it yesterday and I think he's gonna come down at some point so if you could take him out that'd be great

I should really get myself booked on shouldn't I!
Got some new tyres ordered from MMC, hopefully collect on Saturday and get them brought down to KH on the 22nd so I can drive home legally.

The guy was a superb driver. I'm sure someone from here would know him. He had the vauxhall engined 7 (with a set of road wheels/tyres and a set of small track wheels with Avons, i think, on them) and a yellow S1. He invited me up to Kh a few years ago for some laps in the 7, but it had broke an engine mount so he took his wifes S1 up instead. We were battling with an S1 135r. He lived in Brightons in Falkirk, cant remember his name though. Drove a diesel Astra van as his daily driver.

Jonathan. Thats the guys name. Whats the story with him?? Is he on this forum? Does he still do trackdays in the 7 and S1, wouldn't mind bumping into him again, real helpfull guy. I was planning on building a 7 a few years ago and he lives next door to my mates aunt. Went down and spoke to him and he couldn't have been more helpful, top bloke.

Yeah - But if he's booked on for the SIDC day you'll have little chance of pax laps though.
Mandy normally has that seat booked in the caterham unless she's out in the elise in which case Jonathon's in the passenger seat.
Some how it always ends in a spin at Clarkes
