(Probably) The best AV system in Scotland

Post by tonyg » Tue Dec 06, 2011 7:20 pm

As some of you know i work in Holburn Hifi in Aberdeen

We're holding an AV afternoon/evening this Thursday, come along and see and hear a great AV system, - for those of you who have already seen and heard it we have a (temporary) serious upgrade that makes the current system sound pretty average.

Free sandwiches drinks etc

Hope to see you there.

So it's more than just the dial being recalibrated to '11' then?

Somebody had to say it

What components are you using on the demo Tony?

Also, I did not know that you were on here.

Myself and Kathy will to see you (and Corey) later tonight, once I have been to hospital visiting a friend.

ps Sim 2 projector still going strong, but I am interested to see whats now available. :)

If anyone else from here is going along, feel free to introduce yourself. thanks.

WOW. That was totally awesome. Amazing depth and clarity from your AV set up tonight. It reminded me of the Krell system that I heard 12 years ago,but that was only 2 channel. As soon as the demo door opened, I instantly recognised how great it sounded. Not so sure I could justify the outlay though. New Exige S, and a Slk for the misses would be my first choice if I had that amount of cash available, but a new amp from Anthem looks a good stepping stone to sonic bliss. Highly recommend a demo for anyone interested, you will not be disappointed, and you never know what this might lead to.
Thanks Corey and Tony, you clearly know your stuff. :thumbsup
