There is a fair bit going on behind the scenes, but it happened two months ago, nobody was injured, and nobody was to blame. I had not told anybody, so nobody outside of the family knew, not even Scotty and Craig, so had done a good job until it was mentioned on SELOC and S_E.

There could be a good end result, but will not know until after Monday.

Hope you get the good result, that you hope for Tut.

Glad you are OK. :)

One question. Is the Chassis still OK?

Well, the rear subframe is obviously the wrong shape, and it's cat b so you have to be a breaker.. Assuming you're wanting more than just the chassis of course..

If I could get an export doc its fine. I am not in the UK. I am interested in it depending on the price, maybe I could revive it instead of letting it die there. :) :)
Rear subframe is not a problem.

If you read the thread, it would be better if you bit not bid on the car.

I am , of course, just reading between the lines.
It is an auction, and these thing can get very silly.
its like Ebay fever, folk bid 2-3 times what things are worth, and think they have got a bargin.

i would be looking to see if it was just the subframe. I would have thought worse if its a cat B.

Got an update that the chassis was damaged by the heavy nearside rear contact which took most of the impact, hence the CATB.

Sorry to see this Tut. N1 is such a massive part of SE history but like others have already said here the most important thing is the boys are ok. Hope all are well including Verian. Let me know if I can help at all, lifts down to MMC etc.

A friend of Stu Pollacks who actually owns the Coparts site is bidding for me tomorrow.

However most of the advice has been to walk away, especially at the £4K that I was going to go up to, £5.2K with VAT and buyers fee, so we have gone for half of that, so not much chance.
