Just back. Lotuses exploding into the Volvo area, business must be good

Vexige looks grand, exhaust note on Race mode is more impressive though. Baby Fezza. Coooal.

Sadly the kids - and the missus - were suitably distracted by several Evoras which in fact stole the show !!

Good job I'm back home before I could ring Close Motor Finance for some quotes...

Brandon, Craig - good to catch up with you both again, even if only briefly. Don't think the kids trashed any hardware but let me know

Presume it was James.

A real enthusiast, first met him when I organised the KH Lotus weekend and Hethel sent most of the range up, including the Lotus Elise Type 25 Jim Clark Edition which was unveiled for the first time. He has also been up a couple of times with the Evora when it was first brought out, for demonstration runs.

We had a bit of a Fifers' road trip this afternoon. The Haggis Catcher, Victor and myself. Great way to finish the week. Good to catch up with Brandon and to meet Craig properly for the first time. Apologies for having to ask you were

. Felt rude after you looking after me so well over the last few years. Good to see Kevin and meet Peter. Didn't want to distract Andrew L as he looked like he was trying to make a decision

I wasn't disappointed with my first impression of the car. Looks good in black but I don't think that would be the first choice for me - not sure what would

. I quickly had a seat in it and then Brandon fired it up. A quick blip of the throttle in race (?) mode and I was smitten. Thereafter I could take in any of the details as my mind had fogged over and I was in love

Interior was basically the same as my own car, which is what I was expecting. Really liked the diamond cut wheels.

Congratulations on to anyone with their name down. I have no idea how they will be able to contain themselves until delivery.

Unfortunately I forgot to take my phone in with me so don't have any videos or pictures. I can however still here the exhaust note
