I was a wee bit disappointed how similar the interior on the new Exige is compared to the old one. For £50k+ I did expect it would be more porsche like....

Ed, my initial thoughts too when I saw it for the first time, but then it clicked... That's just the point, Lotus are selling this as an Exige and it is an evolution of the previous one. Start adding fancy interiors then it becomes and Evora.

390hp is the highest safe output that they can go for with that engine, on a commercial basis.
Unlike aftermarket they have to give a warranty, so I presume that it has to be as reliable as the standard S output.
