I will need to get onto looking for insurance too, as I just got my renewal in from CCI for the VX, and it has increased by ~40%

I know it sounds stupid but EVERYTHING is declared. Don't see the point in not declaring something and letting them wriggle out of a claim
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

I may try them again at some point but when I listed the Nitrons on teh Elise they ran a mile. Note that's with 12 yrs no claims and minimal points so not I'm not exactly public enema.

Re: Admiral Insurance
If you go with Admiral just hope you don't ever need to claim. From experience they are a complete shower of sh*t and I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

As above. They were cheap when I was younger though.
Re: Admiral Insurance
No particular experience of Admiral from a claims perspective, but I think that most insurance companies are a bit of a nightmare when it comes to making a claim. Unfortunately they have your money and don't want to part with theirs.woody wrote:simon wrote:If you go with Admiral just hope you don't ever need to claim. Re: Admiral Insurance
Had two Lotus cars on multicar. Trish had a no fault accident - front clam replaced. ....and the next year the premium on my car went up £300 as well as Trish's premium. Their response to my quiery was that they had to get their money back. I don't know if they still operate it in the same way but I thought it was a rip off.
