Scotland 1 - USA 5

Post by Doc883 » Sun May 27, 2012 10:44 am

I seriously think it's time Scotland tried their hand at a different sport because we are pants at football  OK so the States have 260million to chose from and we have 5million but still !

Forgot about the match , went to play footie Sunday morning and a friend mention the score was 5-1. Excitedly I asked who scored ... then the disappointment set it realising it was a drubbing. Have not read any of the post match commentary so know idea what went wrong. No doubt sportssound will run a detailed analysis this week/weekend.

Man... I'm starting to hate that score line... first I have to watch us get beaten in the Cup final 5-1... on Saturday my under 10's team got beaten 5-1... and now the so called cream of Scottish fitba are at it.

Really terrible defending from Scotland, looked like wee boys playing football against a proper team. Lacking in marking and closing down players, doesn't help we have a better midfield than we've had in a few years but have little confidence or belief.

The Scotland team has been poor for a while now. Perhaps its time to do what Spain and Germany have done in recent years and drop the lot of them bar one or two players and play the under 21s.
Saw them playing Holland earlier in the year and they passed them of the park. Won 2-1 and it could have been 6-1

Come on, don't be too hard on them, they actually scored a goal.
