Thanks. Is it the mini van you like? Have you got a clubman?

:cheers

The Landies are my real obsession. That Midnight Blue one at the end has just been rebuilt on a galvanised chassis. It is 26 years old and better than ever; not sure a prius could touch that for sustainability.

Thanks. :thumbsup

Can't beat the (kinda) british stuff eh? I also like to count the Jag as british, in my mind at least.

I have actually have a picture of a Landy, Exige, Mini, MG and my Bullmastiff together. Makes me feel all british and that.

Nice collection of Clio's you had there. I still miss the acceleration in 3rd gear that my 255 used to have (that was the only good thing about the car mind ;))

Thanks. I have always loved hot clios. Yeah the V6 is pretty heavily flawed, but a great car despite the list. Not very fast, not very good handling, sh*t interior, BUT very cool imho. Always liked the R5 Alpine Turbo as well. The 255 is meant to better to drive, is it still no good?

My V6 was previously owned by EVO magazine as a long termer. So it has no doubt had plenty of abuse. On the upside, is good fun seeing the pics and reading about it in its past life.

Too embarassed to link to the ad as it shows just what an absolute nerd I am as I prattle on for what no doubt seems like an eternity in the text.

I'm a lover of hot clio's too, currently have a 197 which I rate highly.

The 255 V6 still suffered from having no weight over the front (obviously) which meant the steering was so light i never had a clue what was going on up there! It was less prone to spitting you off but only slightly, and as it still had the crappy lock you had sod all chance of catching it. It was an epic car to own tho - I used to get excited heading out to the garage to fire it up - then I used to be excited that I made it back alive ;)
