45.5.

It's the new titanium one. Doesn't come a 42, which was handy. It was hard enough deciding on the other things without having to decide on size too!

My Mum gave me 2 watches the other night which were my Grandfathers. (Who died 12 years ago! )
she was ready to chuck them in the bin as she hasnt a clue about anything.

The one in the box is an Avia. It was bought in a shop in the Argyle Arcade in 1967 when my Grandfather retired.
No receipt, but the warranty card is there stamped with the jeweler & date
Its a non runner.

The other watch is a Sekonda "de luxe" - 23 Jewels Shockproof is on the face.
It works! - Its a wind up one.
The strap is elasticated - gold metal (plated)
face is scratched.

has anyone any idea if there is any value in these watches ?

David

Got them appraised. Basically, they are worth sweeties.
Worth more sentimentally.

:withstupid

Generally the special editions 007 omegas are a bit naff IMHO and you end up limiting your market.

If you're buying an omega as an investment you'd be best to buy something second hand....like a nice speedmaster pro....but even then it will only hold its value and is unlikely to go up.

All IMHO of course.

Just realised that they are making 11k of them!

Not sure that counts as a limited edition in my book

I like the watch, it is a pity they have written 007 all over it – makes it look like something out of a corn flakes packet IMHO.

Picked up my first Rolex last week. It's always been my dream watch since I seen one in the USA 2 years ago:
