Service/ MOT in the Aberdeen area

Post by fudnie » Tue Aug 07, 2012 10:21 am

I'm need to get the Elise serviced and MOT'd, can anyone recommend someone in the Aberdeen area with a bit of experience with Loti? Or is the best bet taking a long drive to Edinburgh to MMC or SLS?

Don't know any specialists up here, but if its in the city center, I use AW Autotech. Decent guys, my VX has been in there a couple times before (and other cars), and sure I've seen at least one other Elige in previously.

Have used both AW and JD for getting work done. Neither did a very good job. Either would be fine for simple service/MOT though.

I recently had my Elise serviced and MOT'd at JD. Thought they did a good job and seemed pretty knowledgeable.

Heard good things about them. I notice on the site I can get 'preferential rates' for being a member of ADMC, I assume your rates are better still for being a loyal customer.

I use JD and have always found them very good. Dave used to own an S2 so you'd have to say he knows them pretty well.

A good mate of mine has a garage out in Hatton.

Don't know if he has worked on Lotus as such but he is definitely a very good mechanic.

Just in case you were out that way :-)
