Cheers Shug/Neil. I don't recall seeing a grub screw on it. It's not the easiest to investigate either.

It's a MY07 car Neil, (DBW, LEDs etc). I thought (based on a Youtube video i watched) that you tap the base of the mirror upwards and it slides off...

Get the soft top conversion as Kinger has, then you have the best of both worlds.

Have the grommets fitted. Being Aberdonian do not want to pay the frankly outrageous price being charged for a soft top and bars. If anyone knows of same going for a reasonable price then I am interested...
