What have you added to the stable?
(Shocked that you traded something in - I thought you just kept the old ones)

I bought Mathews (BoynerT72) Type 72 Exige. :blackeye
Needed to trade in the Elise otherwise Wendy was threatening to go on a handbag and shoe shopping spree!!

No decent pics at the moment cause the rear spoiler is down at the factory having the Lotus JPS livery painted.
Should be back with me this week.

He probably wasn't as busy with other folk at the same time
Mind you, it probably helped that I made an appointment. :blackeye

For interest.. incase anyone is interested :damnfunny .. It was one of these marketing emails from MMC which I don't usually pay any attention to  that was the catalyst. Scanned the pics, noticed they had a T72, knew that I liked Karens when you had it in the showroom, had one of those "Hmmm, I wonder" moments so dialed the number, 5 min phone call getting general info, couple of quick emails, 30 mins in the showroom for a chat a day or so later and Bob's yer uncle.

Think I will keep sending Graypaul's marketing emails directly to the Spam Folder tho!!

Every time I get those marketing e-mails it sets me thinking and/or reaching for a calculator and checking the bank balance

After the Gairnshiel run weekend before last I noticed a small oil leak on the 211. I'd had an issue in France last summer where the oil cooler bleed nipple (located in an oil filter sandwich plate) had somehow worked loose. When I got home and trays off it was from the same bleed nipple which took a good quarter turn to nip up. I was still a bit concerned in advance of the 'Ring and Spa trip so last Saturday took it for a run to test it was all OK. It was OK on gentle running but after a harder blast it was leaking again and worse than ever. The bleed nipple was loose again but on close inspection the boss on the alloy sandwich plate was cracked right around the bleed nipple. In hindsight I'm glad it showed then rather than a potentially catastrophic failure at the 'Ring or Spa.

I contacted Craig at MMC who was helpful as ever (on day off!) and on Monday had the car recovered to MMC by Lotus Assistance. Part on order and today I got the call it had arrived by courier and all fixed. :thumbsup

I'll pick the car up on Saturday on the way to ferry. They'll even wash all the oil off so saves me a job!
A wee mini meet @ MMC on Saturday Brandon? - about 12ish for the Newcastle ferryists. :thumbsup

Top marks again to MMC for getting this sorted. One happy Lotus owner. :D

Nothing like a bit of a last minute hitch to get an epic trip started. Despite the weather predictions I was SO not looking forward to having to take the 370 :tired ...

Thanks to Craig & the boys for allowing the race car to grace their workshops, and turning it round in double quick time as usual. Hugely appreciated as always :thumbsup

Another thumbs up from me again, picked my car up from MMC earlier having had it in for a service, and some little fixes. All sorted and working well again. Top job, and very reasonable bill for the work. :thumbsup
