Edition 30 has the same (larger) brakes as the R32, Leon Cupra and the S3 so could be more suited to track work.

My mate has just bought a 2011 Leon Cupra- it's plenty quick enough and handles well but it's not that big and the interior is by far the worst of the VAG group. Skoda plastics etc are much nicer. You can tell where they've cut corners too (e.g only one 'flip' key and one normal key instead of two flip keys like all the other marques get, monochrome stereo display where our Skoda has a colour touchscreen etc).

An Edition 30 is currently top of my 'want' list. :thumbsup

Multispoke BBS-esque? Beg to differ. Amongst the nicest wheels ever, IMHO ;-)

But each to their own, of course.

Funny enough, I was not too keen on them in the 80's, but now like them on a 'period' car. The don't suit modern stuff. Had a set of BBS multispokes on the TSE BMW.

Al's wheels on the golf are nice too - a more modern interpretation.

Ross, love it! Always surprised me BMW don't do a M3 touring considering how well the RS4 touring sells :?

Do they, can't find anything referring to them having bigger brakes?

Would rather put the money towards fuel and tyre's on a M3 saloon :thumbsup

Sure you are thinking about the correct wheels Donkey?

Still swaying towards the Civic at the moment, seems to tick most the boxes for me at the moment, helped by it having the biggest boot by sum margin

The Golf is a close second. Will no doubt own one soon enough :blackeye

:cheers

You talking about current Civic hatch or saloon, Mike? I rather fancy the booted one - FD2 I think? - but not sure if will ever get there!
