Exhausted

Post by Guidedog » Tue Nov 20, 2012 10:13 pm

Hi gang,
Just in case...and I know this is a long shot..but has anyone got a sports exhaust or indeed a standard exhaust lying around without a home to go to. I have had some issues replacing the CAT on my 51 plate s2 due to some rusted (and I mean rusted beyond the heat treatment solutions) exhaust. I am looking at purchasing a Elise parts Sports exhaust for £395 plus VAT but in a last ditch effort to avoid this thought I would post my problem.

There might be one lying in my old garage. I think it came off rdh's car. Will try and find out if its scrap, or serviceable.

The standard one is the same as an MG TF exhaust I think. Have one here but it's on it's last legs. Also have a good CAT.

It's an S2/TF cat, different to an S1 one. :thumbsup
