You can buy an iPhone dock that connects to the Sonos network. Probably easiest. Sonos do it themselves.

Edit - and Edmundo beats me to it :D

Ok that iPod dock will work for me, I've got and old iPhone I could keep docked in it all the time with 8gb of music and just use my new iPhone and/or iPad as a controller.

Alternative is to take the SONOS back and swap for a Bowers & Wilkins A5 or Zeppelin, Any opinions on that or should I go with the proposed set up?

You can plug an apple airport express into it and use that to stream from the phone.

Has everyone notice the recent SONOS update which allows you to stream straight from iPhone and iPad? :D
It's now exactly what I wanted and the airport express I bought a couple of weeks ago is redundant!
