First play with the GoPro Hero3 Black

Post by lou_m » Sun Feb 03, 2013 2:29 pm

Found the quality to be better than my previous Gopro Hero HD. I hope to get an external mic so as not to have to put music on the videos to cover the wind noise. The roads were in pretty poor condition and there was still quite a bit of ice about.

Thanks. Its the road north out of Milnathort to Forgandenny. Not really the best roads but I have done a bit of cycling on them and always wondered if they would be any good in the VX.

Nice little vid. Particularly like the fly by with the camera at the side of the road. :-D

No, shot at 25fps. There is an option with the camera to take photos while the camera is recording. I had it set to take a still shot every 5 seconds. This feature only works with the lower fps settings.

$399 in the states as opposed to £349 here, so about £100 cheaper.
