Wise thoughts indeed, mac, and excellent advice from Kevin :thumbsup

Space shouldn't be an issue, I'm hardly what you could call sylph-like and fit quite snugly into the standard (S3) chassis in the Snot :D

Give tilletts a chance - they are very comfy indeed - Zeebrugge to Le Mans this summer in the pi$hin' rain with the mother of all hangovers brought no issues to me pain-wise

http://www.blatchat.com or some of the caterham racing / graduates sites have RSA & other ex-racers for sale, plus you need to get onto http://www.scottishsevens.co.uk 8)

Also, I'm kinda mulling over the prospect of a nice Elise (S1, nowt too lairy) and Mandy's car may well just fit the bill.......

.....but we're currently looking at moving house and I suspect SWMBO wouldn't wear it unless we have moved and know where we are financially

I appreciate an Elise has heaps of room due to the alu tub, and a 7 seems tighter than a camel's ass in a sandstorm in comparison, but you kinda get used to it, I still have sufficient room to H&T

By the same token, the tightness of a 7 is part of its appeal and ethos (I liken it to "wearing" the car  ) - I've paxed in a couple of SVs and generally disliked the loose feeling they give me, even tho I'm a fat bandito  but fully understand extremely tall and/or ahem, wide folks going this way :D

As you're aware, the RST-V8 uses the SV chassis, purely for ease of fitment, although this engine has now been fitted to a narrow chassis (goes for a lie down and a cool off with a damp flannel)

Have to say - just sitting in the car I felt much more apart of it than I do in the elise - and I normally feel well connected to the elise.

Goes without saying that if anyone want to have a better look at Mandy's car then just drop me a PM and I'll happily go meet.

Going to give it a wash & polish at stick it on Pistonheads for 9.5k and see how it goes.

That's providing no one on here wants it first (sure I could come and go with the price a little)

Well it's on Pistonheads for 9.5k, but is still available for SE'rs at a reduced price. Personally I'd like to see it kept within the group as it is a cracking wee car with a known history.

If anyone is interested PM me and we'll see if we can come up with a deal.

Mac - just saw your advert. CAn I suggest sticking the car's mileage up there?

Cheers,

Is it not there?

It did ask me for it so assumed it stuck in there somewhere.

Cheers for the heads up - anything else I should add?
