Top class service from MMC again! New Evora Content

Post by SAJ » Wed Mar 27, 2013 7:09 pm

Some background first:

So as many of you will know the Europa sold not long back and I was down to sharing the Audi with Muneeba, something she's been struggling with as she hasn't been able to do her covert shopping trips ever since I've taken the car from her.

Now the Exige at this point in time still seems to be on schedule for delivery but anything can happen between now and then to delay it but fingers and toes are all crossed that it won't happen. On top of this Muneeba moves to her new job location at the start of May so the car sharing option no longer becomes an option or at

Last Friday:

So about lunchtime on Friday I get a call from Craig, starting off with the usual pleasantries etc and then "Saj, it's your birthday in April isn't it", I'm like "yes, it is", Craig continues with "I know you were planning to get away with Muneeba somewhere but your also Lotusless" (it's also her birthday in the same week).....

To cut a long story short Craig offered to sell me an Evora with the understanding of trading it back for the same amount when the Exige is delivered. I of course was delighted at the chance to 1. Own an Evora, 2. Not be without a 2nd car until the Exige arrived and 3. At virtually no cost to me, other than insuring it. Now how is that for customer service, to be offered such a deal out of the blue even though they didn't have to.

Now:

Not only that (and Craig and Brandon don't know this yet) but just yesterday Muneeba found out she was moving job locations in 2 weeks time, much earlier than expected and something that would have forced me to hire a car out until the Exige arrived, and even the most rubbish car hired for a month isn't exactly cheap so MMC have been an absolute life saver for me and Muneeba.

Deal has all been done and I pick the Evora up tomorrow. Also as it's the Chrome Evora which MMC had done for promoting the movie "The Host", 4 tickets to see "The Host" on Friday at the Dominion Cinema with the small favor of having the car parked in front of the cinema a little while prior the the movie starting. All of which I was more than happy to do as we were actually planning to see the movie on Friday anyway :D

All I can say is that having dealt with any car garages in the past I have never, and I mean never, had the level of service that MMC have given me whether it's buying a car or looking after the car after buying it. It's exactly the reason I sent both my younger brothers their for their first Lotus cars and it's exactly the same place I'll be sending anyone else if they are ever thinking of buying a Lotus.

Thanks again Craig and Brandon for getting it all sorted so quickly for me :thumbsup :thumbsup :thumbsup the wait for the Exige is going to be so much easier to bear now.

I pick the car up tomorrow, here's a few pics I took:

That is excellent service.

I have to add Craig's been excellent with me (firmly at the other end of the market) - after a few days in his care last year the rattles are massively reduced = just lots of little stuff that in reality only a dedicated and mechanically competent owner or main dealer could address. Loose bolts here and there etc.

It's so much nicer that even Mrs Pete'll drive it now.

Incredible offer from Craig and Brandon, but why am I not surprised?

Is that an actual orderable colour, would love to see it in the flesh as it looks fantastic, even if you have to wear shades to look at it.

WOW! That is what I call service.
I was drooling over that car a couple of weeks ago (I'm sure it'll have been cleaned since then).

Wow, that is really a great offer from Craig. :thumbsup

The pictures of the car look better than in real life in my opinion, as I think that it makes it look cheap when I was standing looking over it tonight. I joked to Brandon that it looks like its been wrapped in tin foil.

You better hope that the car does not have a breakdown after the film finishes at the weekend, as you would feel like a turkey with all that foil wrapped around you both. :damnfunny

On the other hand, the red Evora sports racer looks stunning. :love No comparison at all between the two. Whoever buys that car is going to be very happy indeed.

Hope you enjoy the film and the car Saj. You may even choose to wrap your Exige S in tin foil by the end of summer. :damnfunny
(Fingers crossed that you have it by then though)

Steve.
