I think Alan (username: Al) did think of getting this done on his Evora and there were firms that could do it up here, however none of them could do it in a complete piece (i.e. no join).
However I think there are firms down south that can do it in a single wrap. Sure Alan can elaborate if he see the post.

Looks like our original build slot has been a bit cursed, let Brandon know that we can pickup our original car with trade in of the 911 + £10k his way, will forego the chrome Evora hire car though

Are you missing the Evora?
Saj,
To be honest the only time I have missed the Evora has been on the LEGS meets. Been really impressed with the Spyder and definitely no regrets. If it was the Boxster S/Cayman S then I would have been happy but having something a little more unique does help (which is one of the reasons people also go to Lotus)
I think that once the supply issue is sorted out then the Exige will go back to normal Lotus residuals. It's just that it is the
"new lotus on the block" which is exactly what happened when the Evora was originally launched.
You have definitely made a good decision and you can forego the "free" bacon roll at the next meet now

Craig trying to sway me towards something else red. Oh decisions, decisions. Looking forward to seeing your car at hopefully the May Breakfast Club.

Exige?
I've just booked mine in for the 'Sport Racer' treatment with Murrays when I get home, plus a few other bits like MY12 rear light surrounds, few interior bits, wheels refurbed, and the GTN barge boards. Quite excited!
Couldn't justify the extra £30k+ to change to the SR unfortunately

Justin,
Not sure whether the black roof would go with your orange? Personal I know but the full orange looks the business.

It's always good when you really gel with your new car, makes it all the more satisfying. Bacon roll still on its way

SAJ, see here, theSe are carbon fibre but the same design. Be warned, they will void your warranty!

George, I admit I am a bit apprehensive. I've had mine three years now and can't see me changing it, so fancy just freshening it up a bit. New look for a while. It can always be changed back.

What part of the warranty would get voided putting those bits on?
The GTN part here
http://wiki.seloc.org/a/File:Evora_GTN_ ... Boards.jpg is £295 painted in gloss black, but I'm lost about the warranty.

The entire warranty I think, that's why almost nobody has fitted them.
Think you need to sign a waiver. Craig was saying.

That's the most annoying thing I've heard about Lotus warranty, it's just a bit of wood. I'll catch-up about it with Craig tomorrow.

Mine is coming up for the end of its warranty anyway

SAJ, your new one does look stunning in that colour combination. I was in at MMC this afternoon as it was getting the protection fitted.

That looks the dogs.
To be fare unless you were going to be tracking the Exige then the evora is a better option.
