Been there, got the t-shirt  (would NEVER do it again though  )

Did get loads of cheap track time though. Those guys don't give an inch and a Yellow Elise was an easy target to spot. Overshot the hairpin after squeezing into the the row of cones at too high a speed to slow for the corner

Really enjoyed TEAM GIMPS's Video and it really is like that out on track.

I'm amazed KH allow this when they're so strict with us on SIDC/HM/DN events (which I'm effin' glad of :P ) - taking into consideration if someone was injured or worse
Having re-read my comments, I sound a bit stuffy

It does look like a laugh, the point I was trying to get over about KH was in this day & age, any injuries sustained could result in one of the neds taking legal action against the circuit owners

Agreed, do KH have a more extreme disclaimer for Hot Hatch days?

LOving the fact they go ape-sh*t when they get "tapped" from behind convieniently ignoring the fact they've been mm from doing it to load of folk.

Cant beleive they weren't black flagged.

Just checked on Quicken Accounts, as everything goes in there, with a separate category for Trackdays.

I have 55 Knockhills entered, average number of laps between two hour and all day sessions will be over 100, so that is over 6,500 miles alone.

Then there are several Oultons, Cadwells, Doningtons, all full day sessions, Crails, four Ring days, plus all the Scottish Sprint and Hilclimb races.

Probably a total of around 8,000 miles.

On one hand I am quite happy that the get to drive like bawbags on track rather than the roads.

On the other hand I worry about some of them actually buying a decent car and coming on the hot marques with the same attitude and driving skill.

I used to be a HH regular 4-5 years ago, it was my introduction into track driving. (Then of course I bought a decent car and started doing HM nights  )

The standards have fallen terribly, it was a little more aggressive than HM, but there was almost never any contact, overtaking was by moving off-line and out-braking was forbidden.

I personally can't believe that KH themselves allow this kind of behaviour on their track, the fact that the customers refer to it as Racing says it all.

Has anyone forwarded this clip to KH? That could well be interesting!

Ah well, roll on next spring and CE Motorsport days will be back on the calender...
