Had just taken a friend who hadn't seen the car yet a wee blast up and back down the expressway. She maybe shouldn't have had those glasses of wine before she got in the car! Don't know if her alcohol intake agreed with my driving!

Were you off down to the squinty bridge?

Short cut . . . I guess you found out you can't turn left at the other side of it?

You can only go right when you come off the south side and straight on when you come off the north side. I think it's because they intended it for local traffic only and not as a major through road. However, I'm going to start using it to get to work when the Clyde Tunnel slip road on the M8 looks really busy. Did it the other morning and it was equivalent time or maybe a wee bit quicker.
