Graeme,

That's a perfect example of having too much cars on a run, and you can see how the average motorist would get annoyed if they met this bunch on a road. (Check how much of them cross the solid line on entering the motorway).

Some nice cars though :thumbsup

Steve.

I thought that too Steve - some of the 'normal' cars on the motorway had cars on the inside and passing behind to go around the outside, easy to see how people might get narked  A great sight for any car enthusiast though. :thumbsup

That's the exit of the M6 toll booths. It's a f*cking drag race for the repmobiles ;) Seems the supercars were going through the truck lane and coming out. Certainly not joining a live motorway stream of traffic though - everyone is accelerating (at very different rates IME) and there's lots of lane swapping naturally.

I'd agree with you on the lane discipline if this was a normal slip road into a line of traffic, but it's not. As for the numbers of cars - fair point, but I don't think this was an SE style run.

Good on them.

It is vids like that that hopefully show that we still have the drivers and cars that can drive and appreciate them.

We are becoming a very grey world and there is no way that I am going to roll over and accept it.

Would work well in the US where you get housing estates with runways attached.

for me it would have to have VTOL so you can land it in your driveway.

Looks like a Reliant Robin caught in the process of driving off a low loader.

I would be worried that it would get damaged on the road as it cant be that easy to manouvre with folded wings at either side when your in a wee pod in the middle :?

They are promoting a new version with VTOL on their web-site, no runway needed, looks atleast twenty years away from reality to me.
