Mass, it turns out that the previous owner fitted £200+ Ferrodo pads to the standard discs as they didn't generate any brake dust. They were meant for high carbon content, high temp discs which the standard ones were not. As such, lots of heat generated by the pads cooked the fluid. I now have some nice new discs to match the pads - if that doesn't work i'llchuck on the standard everything again :thumbsup
