Just bought Verian the Paperwhite a couple of days ago Ross. She already had the Kindle Keyboard for two years and has read hundreds of books, and even though she said she could not justify a new one, I bought it for her anyway.
She could not read in bed before, and as she often has two hour periods in the early hours when she would go and read in the kitchen, now she can read in bed, and with slightly increasing the font size, she does not need to wear her glasses. It is also smaller and lighter and the white screen as opposed to grey is much better, plus the background lighting is the best of any of the readers out there.
No brainer, buy her the Paperwhite WiFi at £109 and not the basic one. I went and bought the 3G Keyboard version which was a waste of money as she has never used it, she always has all the books that she wants loaded on.
I have just put the original one on eBay, and as it had a cover fitted from the start it is in brand new condition.

ps:- she is just working her way through the three book series of "50 Shades of Grey", so I have had to go into training to keep my end up and not let the side down.
